Secret Service Agent Who Said She Would NOT Take a Bullet for Trump, May Stay In Govt.

Back in October, special agent Kerry O’Grady took to Facebook and remarked that she would not take a bullet for Trump, if he were to be elected.

As a public servant for nearly 23 years, I struggle not to violate the Hatch Act. So I keep quiet and skirt the median. To do otherwise can be a criminal offense for those in my position. Despite the fact that I am expected to take a bullet for both sides.

But this world has changed and I have changed. And I would take jail time over a bullet or an endorsement for what I believe to be disaster to this country and the strong and amazing women and minorities who reside here. Hatch Act be damned. I am with Her.

When the Secret Service learned of O’Gradys remarks they immediately launched an investigation, and suspended her as agent in charge of the Secret Service’s Denver office. The Washington Examiner reported Sunday that her former job was posted as an open position within the agency.

Unfortunately, that may not be the end of the story.

The Examiner goes on to cite that, based on previous cases, O’Grady may continue to work for the government after this whole debacle:

Current and former Secret Service agents and officers are worried that top officials at the agency are working to shield O’Grady from being fired.

They are worried that she will be transferred to another division of the Homeland Security Department and allowed to serve out her time until she can retire with a pension as the agency has done with other officials in the public crosshairs.

Editor’s Note: This serves as a prime example of insiders protecting insiders. The exact type of conduct that Donald Trump was elected to exterminate.  We The People will no longer allow this to continue.
