What the media isn’t talking about; Violence against Trump supporters erupts at the University Of California, Berkeley.

(Mobile Conservative -) Once the proud birthplace of free expression; UC Berkeley is now growing a reputation of violence against those exercising their first amendment rights.  On Saturday evening, Trump supporters gathered at the University of California, to show support for President Donald Trump’s agenda. The university campus quickly turned into a violent and bloodied brawl as anti-Trump protesters took to attacking their counterparts.

This pro-Trump march was one of several “March 4 Trump” rallies that occurred nationwide Saturday.  The march ended with 10 arrests and several injuries as Trump supporters defended themselves from the violent agitators. One elderly Trump supporter was photographed screaming on the ground after being attacked with pepper spray. The free-for-all finally ceased when riot police arrived and intervened.

NBC News reports:

People wearing motorcycle helmets, goggles, gas masks, and bandanas punched, hit and pepper-sprayed the Trump backers. They also set off smoke bombs and fireworks. American flags and red caps bearing Trump’s motto, “Make America Great Again,” were burned at the scene. As Trump supporters chanted, “Build the wall,” anti-Trumpers countered with “No Donald Trump, no KKK, no racist, fascist USA.”

 

Editors Note:  This display of violence is the second of it’s kind in a period of weeks, at the California University. The agitators believe they are fighting fascism, while using violence to silence voices of dissent. The irony appears to be lost on them.  The escalating violence is certainly cause for concern for the future of our great nation.
