Jill Stein’s Michigan recount efforts appear to have garnered some unexpected results.
According to mrctv.org, at least 37% of Detroit precincts are reporting signs of potential voter fraud. In an attempt to prove Russian hacking swayed the election in trumps favor, Stein’s endeavor backfired proving voter fraud may have boosted Hilary Clinton’s numbers significantly. With nearly 1 million votes cast in Detroit, voter fraud of this scale could affect the popular vote by more than anyone could have predicted. Michigan was one of the closest races in the 2016 election, and this fraud had the potential to sway the state to Clinton.

According to The Detriot News:
Reports obtained by the newspaper from Wayne County Clerk Cathy Garrett found that in 248 of the city’s 662 precincts, more votes had been counted than the number of people who had been marked as having voted, which might serve as evidence of voter fraud across the city.
Detroit “voted” in favor of Hilary Clinton by 95 percent in the 2016 presidential election. According to Michigan’s election officials, the discrepancies were believed to be caused by human error. While some small problems are to be presumed; No one expected the degree of election problems seen in Detroit.
It remains to be seen what will happen with funds raised by Stein for the election recount efforts.
