Mobile Conservative — In his speech late last night, President Trump blasted congresses COVID relief package, calling out all the bloated spending and little relief for hard-working Americans ($600).
“It’s called the ‘COVID Relief Bill’, but it has almost nothing to do with COVID. This bill contains 85.5 million for assistance to Cambodia, 134 million dollars to Burma, 1.3 billion dollars for Egypt and the Egyptian military which will go out and buy almost exclusively Russian military equipment. 25 million dollars for democracy and gender programs in Pakistan,” Trump stated; And the list goes on.
“The 900 billion dollar package provides hard-working taxpayers with only $600 each in relief payments. Not enough money is given to small businesses, and in particular — resturaunts.”
The President went on to propose a new stimulus of $2,000 to each working American!

Today, the President heard from some unlikely allies…
AOC chimed in with her amendment: “Let’s do it. @RashidaTlaib and I already co-wrote the COVID amendment for $2,000 checks, so it’s ready to go. Glad to see the President is willing to support our legislation. We can pass $2k checks this week if the Senate GOP agrees to stand down.”

Followed by Bernie Sanders: “That’s great! I first introduced a bill to provide a $2,000 direct payment with @SenKamalaHarris & @EdMarkey 7 months ago. Now, Mr. President, get Mitch McConnell and your Republican friends to stop opposing it and we can provide working class Americans with $2,000. Let’s do it.”

There’s only one problem… None of these liberal democrats proposed amendments even pretend to reduce the amount of wasteful spending to other countries, and within the US government!
Try again, Bernie…
